Alright, so I’ve noticed a very disturbing trend within the Christian community that I would like to address but first let’s use the important authority on the matter.
“Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.”
2 Timothy 2:23-24 NIV
Romans 14 also contains a similar message in more words. Now what is a foolish argument?

I’ll give a classic example of what I think is a foolish argument. Arguing over whether or not Jesus would have worn a nose mask on earth? Why should this be something that Christians argue about so publicly.
Jesus himself says that a house that is divided against itself cannot stand. So that kind of division is extremely unnecessary.
Another thing I’ve also noticed is Christians being so willing to come on and speak against and poke fun when another Christian group is being bashed. They’re okay to hop on and say things because it’s not their church.
The Christian community is more than just churches and denominations. We are all one in Christ. So I won’t be happy with the condemnation of the Catholic Church same as I won’t be happy for the downfall of a charismatic one. Because at the end of the day it all comes down to Christianity.
You see the devil’s plan is to divide us and make us lose sight of the fact that we serve the same God and fight the same enemy.

Instead of being so quick to speak why don’t you pray for the church? When was the last time any issue came up concerning Christianity and you actually prayed for the church?
It’s really just a “pick me” sort of Christianity. You join the world to bash the church so that they’ll think you’re the cool Christian. Jesus tells us not to associate with the world.

If you don’t have anything edifying or uplifting to say about the church I recommend that you remain silent.
Also I will say this, sometimes you can tell when someone wants to argue and when someone genuinely wants to learn. The Bible says that the best answer for a fool is silence. I learned through experience.
